Updated Repairs and Maintenance Information for Tenants – 06.01.2021

In line with Government guidance the Associations office remains closed. Our staff are continuing to work from home during office hours and will be able to respond to voicemails and messages left out with these times. We appreciate your continued patience and we aim to deliver as robust a service as possible whilst keeping our staff, tenants, customers and contractors safe.

Any work which is classed as essential shall continue to be carried out where possible, including emergency repairs and gas servicing.

Repairs

Only emergency repairs are being carried out and any non-emergency repairs will not be actioned until further notice. In the case of an emergency maintenance issue, we would request that before our team undertake any home visits that you can provide the following confirmation: -

  • You are not self-isolating in line with Government guidance
  • You have not been in contact with persons that have been diagnosed with COVID-19
  • You or anyone within your household have not been diagnosed with COVID-19

Our definition of an emergency will be as follows:

  • Heating Failure
  • Electrical Failure
  • Plumbing Leaks
  • Sewer drainage failure

We would request that photos and/or videos are sent where possible.  This may help us to resolve some issues remotely, ensure that contractors are properly prepared and help to reduce the potential number of visits.

Non-Essential Repairs

If you have a repair issue to report but it is not included in the definitions above, then we are asking you to continue to report these issues so they can be logged. We will monitor government advice closely and seek to resume normal service to deal with these repairs as quickly as possible. 

When we are advised that we are in a position to restart non-emergency repairs, we will contact you to arrange to carry out any work that has been on hold.

Update to Services

Caretakers- full caretaking services will continue as normal.

Cleaning Contractor- close cleaning services will continue as normal.
